Clipeze is a successful business marketing specialty products to consumers and retailers. Their main product line is a custom security badge holder branded to the medical and educational industries. Intelligent Design Group has been working with Clipeze for many years to maintain and update the unique look of their web site and provide custom programming to support and promote their product lines.
With the help of Intelligent Design Group, Clipeze has been able to launch several different expansions to their product lineup requiring their site to grow to support these multiple product lines. One major addition was the inclusion of a custom line of shoes for the nursing industry. This product line is hosted under a seperate URL, www.clogeze.com, tied to the main Clipeze website. Intelligent Design Group was chosen to design a print ad for a major industry magazine to support the launch of this new line of shoes.
The framework for this ecommerce site consists of a custom database engine that drives the display and search of the product lines. Products are searchable by name and keyword and all product pricing, size, images and descriptions are stored and retrieved from the database. Products and product lines may be added to the database before product launch as product display and prices can be controlled and customized to appear by date range.
Purchasing and shopping cart abilities are provided by linking the custom framework of the website to a third party ecommerce engine. All products in the database are linked to this engine allowing customers to easily keep track of their purchases as they browse and search the site.
Intelligent Design Group also provides all product photography for the Clipeze product lines. High resolution digital cameras are utilized to provide Clipeze with professional product photos for use both on their website and on print catalogs that are mailed out quarterly to their retail customers. When a new product is ready for release, Clipeze simply mails samples to our offices, the products are photographed in our in-house studio and mailed back to them. This convenience allows Clipeze to introduce new product lines quickly to their web and mail order customers.
